We offer specialised, individualised one-on-one literacy support for primary aged students aged 5-12 years.
We can also offer casual academic support aligned to your child’s current learning at school and diagnostic testing in literacy learning.

A stable internet connection is essential to minimise disruptions during sessions.
Recommended:
Reliable home Wi-Fi connection
Strong signal in the learning area
Avoid streaming or large downloads during session times where possible
Device:
Students will need access to:
A laptop or desktop computer (preferred)
OR a large-screen tablet/iPad with keyboard capability
Please note:
Phones are not suitable for online learning sessions, as students need to:
View teaching materials clearly
Read texts comfortably
Type written responses
Interact with shared documents and activities
A larger screen significantly improves engagement and learning success
Video & Audio Requirements
Students should have:
A working microphone
A functioning camera/webcam
Speakers or headphones
Headphones are highly recommended, particularly in busy households, as they:
Reduce distractions
Improve focus
Support clearer communication
Required Programs & Platforms
Families may be asked to access:
Google Meet
Google Docs/Google Classroom
Shared digital learning platforms or resources
Links and instructions will always be provided prior to sessions.
Learning Environment
For best engagement and concentration, students should work in:
A quiet, low-distraction space
A well-lit area
Seated at a desk or table where possible
Having basic learning materials nearby is also helpful.
Recommended:

Notebook or paper
Parent Support for Younger Students (particularly Reception–Year 2)
Parent assistance may occasionally be needed to:
Log into the session
Open shared resources
Troubleshoot technology issues
Support transitions at the beginning of sessions
Once settled, sessions are designed to encourage independence and student confidence

Both the Diagnostic and the Academic support sessions can be purchased as a singular service. However, a minimum of 3 Personalised Literacy Intervention Support sessions need to be purchased if you choose this option, as the process requires screening, goal setting, planning and implementation.

Payment for all sessions is required at the time of booking. Term packages are offered at a reduced rate. You will receive an invoice one your placement has been confirmed.

Sessions are generally held either before or after school hours. Sessions can be negotiated throughout the day for students who are home schooled or during holiday breaks if desired.
Your availability is requested upon contact and then a time is negotiated from there.
